How can you tell it’s Friday? The aroma of local fish fry fills the air! Sometimes that craving just hits home, but if you’re a little more health conscious, then the thought of dining on deep fried anything just won’t sit well with your goals or your bowels!
So, this week on In The Kitchen, Coach Dave shares a healthier version of the famous fish fry using an egg wash bath, tapioca powder and the breading comes from coconut flour! Then, the fish chunks are placed in the air fryer. The results = perfectly cooked, crispy breaded fish without all the dripping of oil!
Of course no fish fry is complete without tartar sauce, so we have a coconut yogurt substitute with some lime juice and dill.
This is a great way to satisfy those cravings without the guilt of eating fried foods! Enjoy!
