The Weekly Fix: Squatter’s Knee

Having difficulties and pain in the knee when you squat? It could be something Coach Dave calls, “Squatter’s Knee” – This is when the adductors, VMO are overly used and tight… This generally happens when the glute medius isn’t kicking in and firing properly so they take in. As a result, when you squat, the adductors and VMO pull your knee cap out of the patella groove and you can get some knee pain.

Coach Dave share’s an entire routine that you can do to loosen up the tissues surrounding the knee, so things can begin to move, slide, and glide properly!

Are you dealing with pain? Lack of mobility or rang of motion? Coach Dave can help! Send us a message, comment on our post, or email Coach Dave directly at [email protected] and he will be glad to help!
