This week on the show, we interview member(s) of the month, Jane & Doug Lee who are Kenosha’s husband and wife duo… Although Doug could not be a part of this interview due to prior work obligations, we did get a chance to sit down with Jane to discuss their current CrossFit Journey.
Jane tells us how after children she was looking for a way to lose the weight, so she started with small changes; just 15:00 of walking per day. She knew this was an achievable goal to start (which she still does by the way) and this small habit helped propel her to find Weight Watchers, where she is now currently employed and helping others!
Jane lost over 100lbs and was looking for a way to build strength. Her 2 daughters both had been telling her about CrossFit, so she decided to look into it and found Harbor Park CrossFit.
Jane joined with Doug on a trial membership and learned to really enjoy it! Jane says she’s definitely found a little inner competitiveness which makes things fun between her and Doug and also gives them something to chat about with her daughters because they share a commonality with each other.
