How long have you been a Harbor Park CrossFit Member? 6 months
How did you find CrossFit? I believe I saw an advertisement on Facebook and decided to see what it is about and fell in love.
How has CrossFit changed your Life? CrossFit has changed my life in so many ways. I am in the best shape of my life. I have lost weight, inches and body fat. But, most of all I have gained strength and confidence in myself. As I said, I was never an athlete and have been able to change the image of myself and believe that I can achieve anything with time and hard work!
What is your biggest achievement so far, and what is your next big goal? I would have to say being able to do a handstand hold. Next thing…strict pull up 🙂
What is your favorite thing about Harbor Park CrossFit? Absolutely the community is my favorite thing. Since the first day everyone was so welcoming and willing to help out and show me the ropes. Having someone cheer you on makes all the difference. The coaches are also so fabulous…They are willing to work with you to help improve yourself. I feel like I can ask any question without feeling stupid. I LOVE MY FITFAM 🙂
Have any advice for new members? Don’t be afraid to try new things. You can do anything you put your mind to. It WILL take time and hard work to achieve your goals, but it is worth it. Don’t let one bad day discourage you. Keep fighting and if you are the last one done or if you don’t lift as heavy, DON’T feel bad 🙂
