There is so much to say about this young lady right here! She’s not only dating this handsome hunk (Photoed above), she’s really taken her fitness journey to a new level over the past 6-8 months.
Robin has committed to making it to the gym almost every day. She has changed her habits to ensure that she is able to make the gym daily. After every sessions, she works on her weaknesses/goals that she has set out to conquer. This re dedication to her health & wellness lifestyle has even pushed her to join our run crew which gets together on a weekly basis to run together. Robin has also used this to train for her first marathon, which she completed! The best part, Robin is very encouraging to everyone around her. She is even helping her boyfriend Matt to conquer some of his personal gym goals as well!
We love when member’s set goals, especially when they help others to do the same! Congratulations Robin, we are very proud of you!

Occupation: Assistant Manager at Walgreens
Favorite WOD/Metcon: I don’t have a favorite, i do enjoy the longer ones over a short WOD/Metcon.
Favorite lift: Back squat
Favorite cheat meal: Movie theater popcorn and wine
Athletic background: I swam for about 10 years. Starting in elementary school on a local swim team then on Tremper’s swim team.
Hobbies/Interests outside of the gym: spending time with my cats, watching movies, reading, taking photos of nature and trying out new restaurants
How long have you been Crossfitting?: A year and a half
How long have you been a Harbor Park Crossfit Member? A year and a half
How did you find CrossFit?: Matt (my boyfriend) joined when Harbor Park Crossfit opened, after about a year of him doing crossfit and MANY people telling me i should join, i finally did.
Have you tried other CrossFit boxes? If so, what sets HPCF apart from the others?: Yes i’ve done drop in’s at other boxes before, but HPCF is my home away from home. The community is full of members and coaches who will welcome anyone with open arms.
How has CrossFit changed your life?: I have learned to love myself. I’ve always struggled with not feeling confident in my own skin and being way too hard on myself. While there are some days i still struggle with this, i have learned to change my “i can’t” into “i can”. I also never realized how strong i really am!
What is your biggest achievement so far, and what is your next big goal?: I have 3 big achievements since starting crossfit, 1- i’ve strengthened my ankles enough to be able to properly squat, 2- i hit 295 for my 1RM on deadlifts and 3- i’ve built up my endurance enough to help me finish my first half marathon! My next big goal is to be able to do a pull ups!!
What is your favorite things about Harbor Park Crossfit?: The knowledge that the coaches share with everyone in the gym. Whether it’s a goal you want to accomplish, a lift you want to get better at, an injury you need help with, the coaches are always there to help you and get all the answers you need to succeed. They also help you hold yourself accountable by checking in and seeing how things are going.
Have any advice for new members?: Don’t be afraid! Crossfit isn’t as intimidating as it may look and to trust yourself, we are all a lot stronger than we think we are.
