This week we want to cover what to do when Injuries pop up in your training. For the most part, only a few serious injuries should sideline you totally. We are actually able to work around most injuries, which is a good thing for a few reasons:
- You can stay in your workout routine
- Working out promotes healing by circulating blood flow to the injured area
- You can spend more time working on other areas – if you upper body is hurt, you can spend a lot of time working on your lower body and vice versa
Basically, what we don’t want to do is to avoid the gym. If you stop coming you are likely to fall into unhealthy habits, let your nutrition slip, and it can turn into a negative spiral. Don’t let that happen!
